ITINERARY :

| Day 01: Arrive Bagdogra-Gorumara National Park | Meals: Dinner
Early morning we fly to Bagdogra and drive to Gozoldoba Barrage where we will try to locate the ferruginous pochard, eastern marsh harrier, osprey, great-crested grebe etc. We stay overnight in a resort / Jungle Camp. |
| Day 02: Gorumara National Park | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
We will visit the small (80 sq. km.) reserve, Gorumara National Park early in the morning to see the green imperial, pintailed, wedge-tailed, pompadour and yellow-footed green pigeons. We will also try to spot the collared falconet, scarlet-backed flowerpecker etc. In the afternoon we will visit Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary and look out for sultan tits, lesser adjutants etc. We stay overnight in a resort / Jungle Camp. |
| Day 03: Gorumara National Park-Lava | Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
We bird on the other birding trail and look for the lesser racket-tailed, greater racket-tailed and spangled drongo. We will also look for the long-tailed broadbills, fairy bluebird and large wood shrike. Then we drive to Lava. The late afternoon will be spend birding at Lava. Overnight in Yankee Resort or similar. |
| Day 04, 05 & 06: Lava | Meals: Rooms Only
We will spend birding at various birding trails around Lava and Neora Valley National Park. Here we will look for the mountain hawk and black eagle, khalij pheasants, black-throated parrotbills, barwings, shrike-babblers, yuhinas, shortwings, redstarts etc. Overnight in Yankee Resort or similar. |
| Day 07: Lava-Darjeeling | Meals: Rooms Only
We will bird around Lava in the morning and drive to Darjeeling. Overnight stay in Cedar Inn or similar. |
| Day 08: Darjeeling | Meals: Rooms Only
We will spend the day birding at a Tiger Hill looking for spotted laughingthrush, broad-billed warbler or Gould's shortwing. Overnight stay in Cedar Inn or similar. |
| Day 09: Darjeeling-Nameri Tiger Reserve | Meals: Dinner
We will bird on the way down to Bagdogra to fly to Guwahati. From here we will drive to Nameri Tiger Reserve. Overnight in Eco-Camp. |
| Day 10: Nameri Tiger Reserve | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
The whole day will be spent in Nameri looking for white-winged duck, Ibisbill etc. Overnight in Eco-Camp. |
| Day 11: Nameri Tiger Reserve-Kaziranga National Park | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Morning birding at Nameri. Drive to Kaziranga National Park. Overnight stay in Wild Grass Resort or Ban Habi. |
| Day 12: Kaziranga National Park | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Safaris will be in jeeps inside Kaziranga and spend the days in the forest looking out for Pallas's fish eagle, pied harriers, Bengal florican, greater adjutant stork etc. Overnight stay in Wild Grass Resort or Ban Habi. |
| Day 13: Kaziranga National Park-Nameri Tiger Reserve | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
We spend the early morning at Panbari and then afternoon in the western range of Kaziranga. Overnight stay in Wild Grass Resort or Ban Habi. |
| Day 14: Kaziranga NP-Delhi / Calcutta | Meals: Packed Breakfast
Drive to Guwahati to fly to Calcutta or New Delhi. |
